Movement II
Much like my commentary on the third movement, I'll keep it succinct.
Movement II is a scherzo. It is short, fast, and perverse (hopefully). I've included it to contrast the very slow and methodical material that abounds. If everything connects as I hope it does, it'll feel unexpected but not out of place.
And that's it! (As in, this is all the music - somehow I've finished!)
I will address the topic of the whole form in a later post, but for now, I hope you enjoy the sections in their disassembled states.
