Imogen graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2015 with First Class Honours and has since been in demand both as a soloist and as a freelance orchestral musician.

She has premiered a number of solo works including Stephen Dodgson’s Trumpet Concerto and Trinculo by Sally Beamish, commissioned for her by the Park Lane Group. In 2015 Imogen was awarded a ‘Julius Isserlis Scholarship’ by the Royal Philharmonic Society for pursuing studies abroad, and chose to spend seven weeks in Oslo early in 2017, working with renowned soloist Tine Thing Helseth.

Recent orchestral engagements include performing with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Rambert, the Multi-Story Orchestra and the Faust Chamber Orchestra. Imogen is also an alumna of Southbank Sinfonia and a regular deputy for The Phantom of the Opera in the West-End.

As a Britten-Pears Young Artist, Imogen spent a week in November at Snape Maltings, receiving masterclasses from world-famous trumpeter Håkan Hardenberger. Imogen will return to Aldeburgh in March next year for a performance of Handel’s Theodora with the Britten-Pears Baroque Orchestra and mezzo-soprano Sarah Connolly. Further engagements include a new trumpet concerto by Leo Geyer, commissioned for performance in June 2018.
